Fuchsia has been my go-to shade this year, but one pastel hue has been making itself a surprise contender: Lavender.  This pale purple (often referred to as lilac) feels particularly fresh, especially as I can’t remember the last time it had a fashion moment.  It is also a shade I didn’t think would work on me, but after trying the gorgeous lilac dress from Sika Collection, I realized that notion was completely off base.

As soon as I saw this suit from Eloquii, I knew I needed to have it.  The longline blazer and paperbag waist culottes are both amazing on their own, but form an incredible power suit together.
