Christopher John Rogers for Old Navy Plus Size Try On and Review

Anyone who knows me well knows two things:
- I am not a morning person; and
- I love Bravo’s Summer House.
The latter is one of my favorite reality shows, and is currently having a particularly excellent season that is also riddled by real-time drama amongst the cast (including cheating, lying, friendship betrayal, and a complete and utter disregard for girl code). Last night’s episode is supposed to be particularly juicy, but because we watch on Peacock (which airs the next day), I haven’t seen it yet.
I say all this to let you know just how committed I am to this just-launched Christopher John Rogers collab. This morning, I had the choice of staying home and watching the new episode of Summer House before my workday began, or waking up early, getting on a rush hour train, and heading straight downtown to Old Navy to try everything I could on before it sold out. And I chose the try on! (My love for joyful, colorful fashion overrides everything else!)
I’m glad I did, too, because I really like this collab, and getting to see how everything fit IRL was so helpful. I posted these bite-sized reviews from the fitting room (a very literal #inthefittingroom), and then followed up with video reviews on my IG Stories, but I want to share them here too for anyone who doesn’t use Instagram and wants to see how the CJR x ON collab looks on a size 20 5’4″ figure with a full bust and a belly!
Some pieces, like the polka dot skirt, are already fully sold out, and others are moving fast, so if you have a favorite, I’d recommend ordering sooner than later (a lesson I learned the hard way when the striped tee in my online cart disappeared in the span of time it took to respond to a few emails).
The collection is available in sizes Xs-4X, but some sizes are gone already. You can see everything that is still available here (and as always, if you found this info helpful and you choose to shop, it is so appreciated if you could use my link – it costs nothing, and supports the work I do here and on socials, including first thing in the morning on launch day try ons!)
