It is officially holiday party season, and that means it is time to find the perfect festive look.  I’m going to be rounding up the best options of the quintessential holiday go-tos, starting with the perennial party favorite: Sequins!  Nothing says “Tis the season!” like glittering pailletes.  Not everything that glitters is gold, though, so I’ve only included the best plus size options of 2015.  No matter your budget or style, there’s a sparkly option here that will ensure you’ll light up any room.

Sequins + fringe = a perfectly on-trend showstopper of a party dress from Elvi at Hey Gorgeous.

If you are not a dress person, there are tons of fab sequined separates.  This Lela Rose for Lane Bryant sequin crop top looked amazing with distressed black jeans and a leather moto jacket.  You could also pair it with a chic pair of wide leg pants for a more formal look.

I love an unexpected use of sequins, and this glitzy bomber jacket from Elvi is a great example.  I love it with these embellished joggers, too – the whole look is the polar opposite of stuffy.

If you want to amp up the sex appeal, a risque slit is just the ticket.  Long sleeves keep it from being too over the top.
