Fashion is funny:  Just as summer days are winding down and we are starting to dream up our fall wardrobes, we will be inundated with runway after runway of warm weather inspiration during New York Fashion Week.  The Spring/Summer 2015 shows are fast approaching, but that does not mean we have to fall victim to fashion amnesia: The A/W 2014 shows were filled with gorgeous looks that will be seasonable before we know it.

My favorite moment at New York fashion week was during the stunning Kaufmanfranco show: While I was swooning over a floaty navy gown with gorgeous movement, I was caught off guard by the icy hue that followed:

The color was unexpected, and an instant breath of fresh air.  Designer Isaac Franco perfectly described it as “glacial blue.”  I was instantly hooked.  The shade looked amazing in a variety of textiles and cuts, but my particular favorite was the stunning leather jacket and layered hem sheath (above).

Since the show, I have been on the lookout for a similarly sumptuous jacket in plus, to no avail.  So I actually gasped with happiness when I saw this icy blue moto jacket on the Fashion to Figure website:

It is faux leather, but the details are fabulous, and the color evokes the same excitement I felt watching Kaufmanfranco‘s creations float down the runway.  It is a serious steal for the price, too – only $32!  In short, it’s a must have.  Click here to buy it before its gone – its the only glacial blue hue I’ve seen in fall plus lines thus far.  What do you think about this cool shade for fall?
