New Year’s Eve is the #1 sequin day of the year.  I have yet to prove that statement scientifically, but I’m pretty sure its a fact.  So when I got this ombre sequin number in the mail from Gwynnie Bee, I immediately decided it would be my NYE dress.  I love the unexpected hint of navy in the sequins, and the super soft material of the skirt (which is what I’ve come to expect from Three Dots).

I paired it with shoes that I love but have never made it out of the house – I think my high platform days are behind me, no matter how much Nike Air technology is involved.  The shiny patent t-straps are just so pretty though!  *sigh*
