The Plus Size Cowboy Carter Tour Shopping Guide (including wide calf cowboy boots!)

Happy Cowboy Carter Tour season to all that celebrate! It just kicked off yesterday with the first show in LA, and I am beyond excited for it to be my turn next month. I love dressing for an occasion with a theme, and IMO there is no occasion better than a Beyoncé tour. The Renaissance tour was unfortunately not in the cards for me, budget wise, and I was sad about that every time a new video from an attendee popped up on my FYP (which was a lot). So this time, I learned from my mistakes and made a plan to buy a ticket right at the drop, and managed to snag some cheap nosebleeds for Cowboy Carter (!!!) We’ll be way up there, but we’ll be in the building, and that is the most important thing for me.
When I shared that I was going to the tour, I immediately got questions about whether I’d be writing a Cowboy Carter shopping guide, and the answer was 100% yes! I know firsthand how hard it can be to find cute wide calf boots, so I definitely wanted to include a round up of the best truly wide calf options on the market now too.
For the tour, I predicted that Levii’s Jeans would be a big clue to the vibe, with lots of double denim, cutoff shorts, and boots, and from what I saw of last night’s show, I was right! I also think we are going to see a lot of fringe, lace and leather (but with the latter used strategically, since a lot of the tour will take place in hot summer months). I’ve spent the last month scouring the internet for the best Western-inspired pieces that would be perfect for the tour, with plus size Cowboy Carter options for every style and budget, whether you are shopping for a full head-to-toe look or just an accessory or two to punch up the modern cowgirl vibes. Tip: If you love something in the carousels below but the price is outside your budget, it’s worth clicking through to look, as a lot of my favorite brands have regular sales and discount codes that might make it much less!
As always, if you choose to shop from any of the brands you find here, it is SO appreciated if you could use my links! It costs you nothing, and helps me be able to take the time needed to research and write guides like this one!
