As someone who has been blogging about plus fashion for years and has an incredible community of readers, I get to get firsthand insight into what plus shoppers are looking for. The demand for more natural fibers in inclusive size ranges has been an ongoing one, but lately, with linen-heavy street style trends like Coastal Cowgirl and 90’s Minimalism set to dominate 2023, I’ve seen more questions about where to shop good linen pieces in plus than ever. So I’ve done a deep dive and rounded up 21 brands that offer linen pieces that are actually cute and current, with options at price points from bargain (as low as $6!) to full-on designer.

Now for the best places to shop stylish linen in plus:

Lane Bryant (Sizes 10-40) Linen is one of those fabrics where fit is particularly important, so I was so happy to see an expanded linen assortment this year from one of my go-tos for well-fitting plus size clothes: Lane Bryant. With over a century of plus size fit experience, they know what they are doing when it comes to clothing plus bodies, and it shows in the great fit in this fabric that can veer inadvertently boxy if the fit is off. I did a mini #inthefittingroom of some of their linen pieces last week and was so impressed with how great everything looked. I ended up getting these sharp tailored Linen City Shorts and this super cute pink bandana print romper, and I am going to go back for these wide leg linen pants and this top as soon as my budget allows. With linen styles from office appropriate to beach-ready in sizes up to 40, LB is definitely a place to check out if you are shopping for plus linen. One thing to note though: Not all their linen blend styles show up in the search results for “linen,” so definitely check out the fabric content if you see a piece in their new arrivals that looks like it might be.

Old Navy (Sizes XS-4X) If you told me last month that Old Navy would be one of my top recommendations for plus-size linen, I don’t know if I would have believed you. But when I was researching their linen selection, I loved the look of this chic white linen blend romper the moment I saw it online, though my serious reservations about whether the fit would be good gave me pause – in a style like this, fit is crucial! But I decided to take the gamble and order it anyways, because the style was just too tempting not to. And much to my surprise, when I tried it on, I had no notes. The linen is lightweight without being see-through, the romper is well-cut and true to size, and it has pockets! All of this is even more impressive when you consider the $30 price point (and even less with the current sale). They also have a broad selection of linen pants, button downs, dresses, shorts, suiting, and more, all at some of the best prices I’ve seen for linen available in plus (we’re talking as low as $12 for a cute sundress).

Rebdolls (Sizes 2-32) If you are looking for trendier styles with pure linen options, Rebdolls is a great place to start. This brand was created by former plus model Grisel Paula back in 2014, and it has been a joy to watch it grow into the successful and beautifully representative company it is now – they are one of the few brands that regularly show their upper end of plus sizes in shoots and campaigns. The styles offered tend to be cool and fashion-forward, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. They also offer 100% linen options, not just linen blends like many other brands.

Universal Standard (Sizes 00-40) One of the few truly size-inclusive options out there, Universal Standard goes up to a size 40 and has well-made pieces with good size diversity represented on their website. Their pieces last – I still have and wear items I got right after they launched in 2015 – and I’ve heard great things about their linen, including from my blogger friend Emmie. Universal Standard’s linen options range from casual to office-ready, and come in a variety of colors. I currently have my eye on this cool wide-leg linen jumpsuit in green. One thing to note though: Their linen availability tends to be seasonal, so if you see something you like, know that it might not be in stock in a few weeks time.

Tuesday of California (Sizes XXS-7X) If you are looking for cool linen that doesn’t look like everyone else’s linen, indie label Tuesday of California is for you. With an incredible size range for a small brand and unique designs, woman-owned and ethically made, this is shopping you can feel good about. The pieces are just so fun too – I love my cow print Breakfast Slip so much, and the reason for the name – it has pockets big enough to comfortably carry a breakfast burrito – makes it even better. Definitely check the size chart before ordering though – I tend to need a size up from my usual 2x in their linen styles for extra bust space.

Eileen Fisher (Sizes XXS-3X) Known for their use of high quality natural fibers, Eileen Fisher has always been a go-to for linen pieces, which is why I am so happy that they’ve now expanded their entire collection to include their full size range, with the same pieces in both straight and plus sizes. They have a robust selection of organic linen styles and options, including both 100% linen and blends. And despite the pre-existing conceptions you might have about their aesthetic, the styles aren’t all subdued neutrals – this vibrant neon hue, for example, is spot-on trend this season. They are also committed to a sustainable, circular philosophy, and their site Eileen Fisher RENEW has quality-inspected secondhand pieces for sale. The plus selection at RENEW is a lot more limited, however, but it is worth a look if you are looking for a deal on EF. I also recommend checking out the online selection at TJ Maxx and Marshall’s – Eileen Fisher can often be found in their plus section under the “Reveal Designer” button. I also occasionally see plus size Eileen Fisher pieces at Nordstrom Rack.

Ashley Stewart (Sizes 10-36) This plus size brand has really upped their styles lately, and that includes a lot of cool, contemporary options in their linen selection – I’m particularly loving this spot-on-trend acid green romper and this resort-ready leaf print jumpsuit. I also appreciate that they have a great size range with lots of options for larger plus sizes – a market that is still even more underserved than plus fashion as a whole!

Eloquii (Sizes 14-32) Eloquii has been one of my top go-tos for on-trend styles and workwear in plus for years now, and their great linen selection this year hits on both. From sharp suiting to trendy linen coords to pretty sundresses, they have an excellent range of styles cut with plus bodies in mind. They even have linen options in their more affordable diffusion line, Eloquii Elements. And for brides to be (or just anyone looking for dressier white linen options in plus), the Eloquii Bridal collection has some great LWDs (Little White Dresses), separates, and even a 100% linen full-on bridal gown (which would be gorgeous for a low-key beach ceremony!)

What Lo Wants (Sizes 12-32) This plus owned plus size label hits that perfect balance of ethically made and affordably priced, and I’ve heard nothing but good things about the great plus fit from my friends in the community. I also really appreciate that they have stretch linen options, making this sometimes hard to fit fabric a bit more approachable – and the fact that What Lo Wants goes up to a 5x makes that even better. J.Crew (Sizes 000-3X) Though it still surprises a lot of people that J.Crew has plus sizes, they actually offer a lot of styles in plus, and that includes their vast linen selection. With over 190 options in sizes 14+ in their Linen Shop, there is a lot of variety in styles for plus babes, with options from workwear-appropriate linen suiting to date night-ready slip dresses. One thing to note: I recommend checking out their size chart before ordering, especially in their more tailored pieces (and if you are looking for insight on their plus size denim fit, I have a whole post about that too!)

Baacal (Sizes 10-26) If you are looking for a designer version of linen in plus size, CFDA designer Cynthia Vincent’s plus size label Baacal is a great choice. Her pieces are a bit of an investment but they are such staples that the price per wear definitely ends up being a bargain in the long run – and there will be a long run, because they are gorgeous quality and LAST (I still have and regularly wear items from their launch in 2018 that look like new). Their linen selection is smaller but the pieces that are available are gorgeous – I didn’t want to take this voluminous linen blend sundress off when I tried it on at Vincent’s LA studio.

H&M (XXS-4X) I was so happy to see the recent announcement that H&M is expanding their size range for their core collection (in stores too!), and I’ve already seen the selection start to improve online. This is also the best overall selection of linen I’ve seen from them, and most of the styles are available at least up to an XXL (just use the dropdown menu at the top to find what’s in stock in your size), and I’ve seen more and more extended sizes being added weekly.  Hopefully they keep this trajectory going!

ASOS (Sizes 00-32) This British megasite’s Curve section is a longtime fave of mine, and their large assortment of plus size linen from both their own house brands (including ASOS DESIGN and COLLUSION), and UK high street brands that are otherwise hard to find in the US (like Daisy Street and Simply Be) is a good one.

New York & Company (Sizes 0-28W) This classic mall brand is now online only, and just recently expanded into plus. Their overall plus size selection is still small, and the linen selection is smaller still (just five pieces at the time of publication!), but the incredibly affordable prices definitely warrant inclusion. Like an oversized white linen button down for $15? Yes please! I’ll be ordering one for myself – I just have to decide which of the four colors to get.

Vince (Sizes up to 3xl) This luxe contemporary brand recently expanded their sizing up to 3x, and they did it right: The plus size styles are the same as the straight size styles, just fit and graded for plus size figures. The selection of plus size linen is pretty small, but worth a look if you want to add some elevated staples to your wardrobe. Also make sure to check out the plus size sale section for off-season deals on these perennial styles.

Madewell (XXS-4X) If you are looking for cool linen items that are well made, Madewell lives up to their name. Their plus fit and sizing has improved lately, and though their plus linen selection is relatively small, they have a good variety of styles, from sharp 100% linen suiting to pretty floral mini dresses.

Target (Sizes XXS-4X) Target’s linen selection is limited and very seasonal, but if you see something good (like these amazing Fe Noel collab pants that are a dupe for their $675 pair, or this oversized linen button-down from the Gabriella Karefa-Johnson collection), snap it up while it is available!

Anthropologie (Sizes 0-26W) It is not surprising that this boho favorite has a stylish linen selection, but I appreciate that they have on-trend plus options both in their own house labels and in some of the Anthro-exclusive extended size ranges for brands that don’t offer plus elsewhere (like Farm Rio and Self Contrast).

Nordstrom (Sizes XXS-4X) In addition to their growing plus size selection of big brands like Good American and Eloquii, Nordstrom’s own house labels like Open Edit bring some great linen options in fashion-forward cuts and colors. I also appreciate that they offer fabric filters, so you can filter for either 100% linen, linen blends, or both.

Evans (Sizes 14-32) This UK high street brand is now available in the US via the Avenue, and their selection of linen pieces is one to check out if you are looking for affordable linen blend items to incorporate into your wardrobe – at the time of publication, this classic pair of linen trousers is just $27. The site also has items from their sister brands like City Chic and Avenue available, including some really pretty linen midis that make me want summer ASAP.

Torrid (Sizes 10-30) This plus staple has expanded their linen selection this season, including some options I haven’t seen elsewhere in plus (like these adorable linen shortalls).

If linen doesn’t work for you for whatever reason, but you still want this vibe and in natural fibers, I can’t recommend Free Label enough. This indie brand has sizes XS-5X, and their cotton crepe pant looks and feels like linen.
