I love city living, but sometimes I need to get out into the country for a break – fresh air and open skies are so necessary to recharge my figurative batteries.  So I was more than happy to join a friend at her winery birthday bash on one of the first nice days of the season.  I wore boots to accommodate the still-muddy ground, and an open weave sweater to keep from getting too hot in the enclosed terrace.  Between the sunshine, a wine tasting, delicious wood fired pizzas, and good company, it was a great little escape.
