The weather in NYC has been all over the place this year, with summery temps one day and a blizzard the next.  I got these amazing culottes from Elvi’s spring collection right during our biggest snowstorm, and thus had to impatiently await the next day warm and dry enough for bare ankles and non-boot footwear.

The moment I put on this sheer pleated jacket with the blush culottes, I was in sartorial heaven.  The proportions worked perfectly.

The high slit on the sides of the pleated jacket gave great movement, and every step I took felt like the runway.  This is truly one of those transformative outfits that can change your whole day for the better.

I finished the look with on-trend block heels, a simple black tank (tucked in), and a plain choker.

I love the elevated athleisure feel of the bold black stripe on the culottes.  The placement towards the front is the type of the thoughtful detail that I appreciate from Elvi.

A good outfit can really harness your energy, and I felt happy and powerful in this look.  If you are looking for a look to slay spring, this is it.
