Every January, the world’s top color authority Pantone announces its pick for the color of the year.  With their clout, the pick goes beyond mere prediction – it tends to influence what is to come in design.  Fashion in particular takes cues from the Color of the Year, which is why I am so excited about 2017’s pick: Greenery.

Pantone says it is all about fresh starts, and after the crap year that was 2016, I think we can all agree that that sounds good.  I also love that it is something we haven’t seen lately, so it is actually a fresh, statement making addition to your wardrobe.
