I launched CurvilyFashion.com a year ago today (!!!), and I cannot believe how much has transpired in 365 days.  It has been a fantastic year for me, with a career change to work for a company I love, and my blog growing by leaps and bounds.  I’ve been more adventurous with my sartorial choices, and in turn my personal style reflects me more than it ever has.   I’ve received tons of great media coverage, from both straight and plus size fashion publications (including the New York Times, Vanity Fair Italia, Yahoo Style, Plus Model Magazine, and Refinery 29, a bunch of times).  I’ve found my place in the New York fashion scene, attending NYFW shows and getting to know some of the best up and coming designers.  Most importantly, I’ve received so many wonderful words from my readers.  Nothing makes me happier than hearing that I inspired someone to try a new style, or that they wore something they never thought they could because of me.  I’ve gotten emails from teenagers, women in their sixties, and everything in between, and I’ve been moved to tears on quite a few occasions.  Inspiring others and spreading the message of body positivity is why I blog, so thank you so much for all of your kind words!
