OOTD: Jumping into NYFW
I have a tradition of trying out something new for me during fashion week. For SS14, it was my first crop top (a piece that has since become a wardrobe staple). For AW14, it was pants under a dress, a la Manrepeller. For this sweltering SS15 NYFW, I decided to break out the undeniably bold tiger print jumpsuit that had been languishing in my closet for months. I had a jam packed schedule of shows ahead of me (seven in one day!), so I needed to be comfortable without spontaneously combusting from the heat. Turns out a silky jumpsuit was just the ticket – surprisingly easy to wear. I loved it so much I’m now on the search for more (I’ve listed some of my faves below).
My day started at Carrie Hammer, presented by the Fashion Law Institute at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. The show was fantastic – full of chic workwear and a diverse runway [full post coming soon!]. Now for the outfit details:
