For an afterwork soiree at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, I decided to wear an abstract print that could be art in its own right (though more of a MOMA piece).  I love the relaxed shift fit of this dress, and the monochrome palette.  I added a bit of color with my burgundy tights, and a sculptural spike ring for more art inspiration.

Carmakoma is one of my favorite plus labels – I love that they remain true to their fashion forward, edgier aesthetic.  The fit can be tricky, though, so it is great that I can try pieces via Gwynnie Bee – free domestic shipping each way is MUCH easier than dealing with international returns until I find the right size.
