This will come as no surprise: I am a big fan of dresses.  One piece of clothing, and I’m dressed. I can always add a blazer at my desk if the day calls for it, and still look polished with far more comfort than a suit.  Since I love the way a dress feels on, wearing one in a soft, luxurious fabric like this perfect silk jersey makes me even happier.  I literally could not stop touching the dress (I may or may not have made some of my friends feel the fabric too).

The details and cut are perfection, too.  The print is strong without being too much for a professional setting, the golden-apricot color is rich yet seasonlesss, and the gorgeous buttons and perfectly proportioned collar are evidence of the value of attention to detail.  And it has pockets! I have so many styling ideas for it too, for every season – here, the red pumps worked with the goldie print to bring warmth and color to dreary winter day.   All in all, it has earned its place as my new go-to dress.

I mean, even our puppy liked it 🙂
