OOTD: Shopping in a Romper
Last year, when I was just a fledgling blogger, I went to the annual Shop & Swap sale with a bunch of top curvy and plus size bloggers. I met many of my favorite fashionistas, and left with some great clothing and accessories from Nadia Abhoulhosn and Kellie B. of And I Get Dressed. So of course, I was hyped about this year’s sale, and made sure to tell my beloved readers about it 🙂
Honestly, the sale exceeded my already high expectations. The roster of bloggers was great, they had amazing stuff for sale, tons of plus size brands attended and showed off their latest and upcoming collections, and there were some serious giveaways (I won one too!). The location was amazing too – bright, airy, and spacious enough for all the shoppers. I’m now convinced that it is THE best plus size shopping event in NYC – great job Kellie!
It was hot and humid on the day of the sale, so I figured I’d wear something light and airy. This romper fit the bill, and was a fun statement piece, but NOT practical for shopping, as I discovered. I ended up trying on everything on top of it, because I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of taking it all on and off. So rompers: Perfect for a day strolling around the city; less than ideal for intense shopping 🙂
