For my sister’s birthday, she found a perfect lake house in St. Michaels, “the Hamptons of Maryland.”  My sister has a serious knack for finding the best vacation rentals – our place had a dock, kayaks, a saltwater pool, and hammocks.  And we got to spend time together as a family. Basically, it was perfect.  St. Michaels was an adorable town, too – perfect to wander around, checking out the sights, eating ice cream and fresh Maryland crab.

For one such day in town, I wore one of my favorite Cynthia Rowley fit and flare dresses – comfy and summery.  I got this dress at Marshall’s and cannot find its equivalent online, but I suggest scouring your local TJX or Marshall’s for a similar style – I have a few CR dresses I found there that I absolutely love.

My Matt Bernson chevron sandals are also sold out, but other great styles abound online.  The designer is NYC based, and the shoes are fantastic quality.  Check out the very on-trend slides or the gladiators that are constantly spotted on celebs.
