OOTD: Stripes and Angles
Since Eloquii re-launched as an independent company earlier this year, I’ve been eager to test out their quality and fit. So I was very excited to see this graphic striped bodycon dress in my Gwynnie Bee box. It also arrived just in the nick of time for a night of fashion parties. I was wearing a very office appropriate Annafesta houndtooth sheath when I got invitations to Loris Diran and CFDA events, and this was the perfect piece to switch up my look. I kept my pixelated-effect United Nude flats on, and was ready to go.
I was pleasantly surprised to find the Eloquii dress fully lined, which helps prevent unwanted clinging. It seems that this iteration of the brand is giving more attention to detail, which I appreciate. It fit true to size, and the fabric was a nice weight – substantial without being heavy. I also love the design on this piece – the angular detailing elevates it from the typical striped dress. Others apparently agreed: In a room full of willowy models and pricey designer threads, I got compliments all night long.
