OOTD: Festival Style
I don’t know if I am really a “festival person,” but the line up on this year’s Governor’s Ball was just too good to resist. Washed Out, Bastille, Janelle Monae, Jenny Lewis, Phoenix, Grimes, and OUTKAST on the same day? Yes please!
The weather was perfect, and there were no reports of mud pits on Randall’s Island this year, so I went with a comfortable, breezy pastel look. And lots and lots of sunscreen.
I danced, I sang along to “A Better Son/Daughter” (Jenny Lewis played some Rilo Kiley songs!), I explained Grimes’ voice to my friend, I almost burst with happiness when Kast started playing Spottieottiedopaliscious. All in all, it was awesome.
