There’s no doubt about it: Animal print has been having a serious moment in the last year. Leopard reigned supreme for a while, with zebra print recently vying for the top spot.  Now a new contender has slithered in: Bold python prints.  The snake trend is going to be big for 2019, so I’ve scoured the internet to find you all the best snake print pieces in plus.

This wasn’t as simple of a task as I hoped, particularly when it comes to bold colors in python print (the most fashion-forward take on the style). Unfortunately, this is another instance where the plus market as a whole isn’t on top of the latest trends – I actually couldn’t find anything cute and snake print in plus at a brick and mortar store in NYC when I was looking for a piece to shoot for this post, so I ended up wearing these Curvy Beach swim pants!  Don’t get me wrong, things are MUCH better than when I started blogging six years ago (it would often take trends a year or more to trickle down to plus then), but until things are on parity with the straight size market, it means there is still work to do.

In the end, it took some doing, but I was able to find some great snake print pieces in plus to shop online, with options for every budget from fast fashion to luxury.  Two of my favorite finds in the latter category come from the newly launched plus label by Cynthia Vincent, Baacal.  I want both of these silk blouses in my closet immediately – they are beautiful and have a timeless appeal.

Finding stylish wide width shoes in snake print was even more of a challenge.  My favorite pair is from Lane Bryant.  I already had another pair of this style of shoe from them, and it is *by far* my most comfortable high heel, so I am so happy they added a snake print print version!
