75 Cute Plus Size Linen Pieces for Hot Summer Days

We are well and truly into the thick of summer, that time when the air feels hot and heavy with humidity, and pretty much any clothing feels like too much clothing – or as I like to call it, Linen Season.

Since I’ve discovered the joys of wearing light, breathable linen, it has become a summer must-have for me. My oversized linen button downs from Lane Bryant probably get more wear than anything else in my closet once the weather heats up, and when it gets truly muggy in the city, linen dresses are a lifesaver.

I’ve done a full Plus Size Linen Shopping Guide before, but I just wanted to include a quick recap of my favorite places to shop plus linen in 2025 for ease of reference. I’m also including a little slideshow of 75 cute plus size linen pieces available now – just scroll through to find ones that speak to your own personal style and would fit into your wardrobe! (and if you are unsure where to start, I cannot overstress the value of good oversized linen button down – it can go from work to a beach coverup with ease, and unlike a crisp cotton poplin button down, you do not need to worry about it wrinkling, because the relaxed rumples are part of the appeal of linen).

This is a great time to shop linen too, because brands have already started shifting their focus to pre-Fall, so you’re likely to find some great markdowns in the mix, and you’ll still have at least two months of wear ahead of you (or more, depending on where you live). When you are looking at the carousel of options below, be sure to click through to see the actual price if you see something you love – it might be much cheaper on the site! And since linen is truly timeless, you can put it away this winter with the assurance that you’ll be pulling it out again for summers to come!

A few tips to keep in mind while shopping linen:

  • Lots of brands use “linen” as a shorthand for “linen blend,” and the percentage of linen actually present varies from style to style, so make sure to check the fabric composition if this is something important to you. Even a little linen is going to make a garment more lightweight and breathable than fully synthetic styles, but higher linen content is going to be the best – which also means it is likely going to be pricier, so go with what feels right for you!
  • Don’t feel restricted to the typically neutral colors and boxy shapes that people often think of when it comes to linen if that is not your style! There are WAY more style options available in plus size linen now, and you are more likely to get your money’s worth if you purchase only styles that feel true to your own aesthetic.
  • If you are on the fence about what size to get, go with the larger of the two. Oversized linen is almost always a vibe, but too-tight linen rarely is, so err on the side of roomier!

As always, if you find something you love here, it is SO appreciated if you could use my links/codes. It costs you nothing, and supports the work I do here and on @curvily, making taking the time I need to create guides like this one possible!
