OOTD: Women in the World Summit Style, Opening Night
For a night at a summit with Hillary Clinton, Christine Lagarde, and some of the world’s other most powerful women, I wanted to look professional and chic. My goal aesthetic was “House of Cards without the the evil.” 😉
This peplum skirt suit is actually not a suit at all – it is a blazer and a skirt from Gwynnie Bee – ingenious clothing rental service that also strives to empower women, and the reason I was able to attend the Women in the World Summit. I love that they have such a broad range of clothing, allowing for sartorial self expression for everything from casual days to black tie weddings to a conference full of inspiring women from around the globe. They have been a key part of my style journey, and developing a stronger sense of self confidence, so I was honored to attend WITW as a member correspondent.
