Prabal Gurung for Lane Bryant’s Gorgeous Fall Collab
You’ve heard me say that I love a good designer collab, and Prabal Gurung’s for Lane Bryant might be my very favorite. His spring capsule was well made and very true to his aesthetic (and included one of my favorite looks of the summer). The fall collection is even better. I basically want one of everything.
There are some gorgeous statement pieces, like this luxe grey wool coat with a (removable!) fur collar.
I love the vintage vibes of this faux suede patchwork skirt, but in a decidedly current palette of blush, dusty rose, and muted maroon.
At the collection preview, I absolutely fell in love with the pants from the collection. This burgundy twist on a tuxedo pant was full of luxe, unique details, like tonal satin edging, functional buttons on the side, and an on-trend flare silhouette.
I was also super into these lace up leather pants, which honestly surprised me because I thought I was over this trendy detail. The quality of this pair made them stand apart, however, and I am now dying to add them to my collection.
The pants would pair perfectly with this monochrome grey sweater for the chicest cozy fall outfit – another head to to Prabal Gurung for Lane Bryant look I’d happily rock.
The attention to detail on this collab is apparent throughout. I love the contrast of textures on this dress: Blush matte body, silky blush piping on the edges, and maroon snake-effect trim along the collar, sleeves, and thoughtfully-cut asymmetrical hemline.
All in all, I am very impressed with this collection – this isn’t even the full lookbook, just me painstakingly trying to narrow down to my favorites (turns out, I have a lot of favorites!). I really appreciate when designers do not water their aesthetic down for plus, and so many of these pieces look straight off of Gurung’s high end runways. The pieces look even more luxe IRL, too.
