OOTD: #CelebrateMySize Expo
Today is the 9th Anniversary of Plus Model Magazine, the top plus size fashion publication, and one I am so proud to be a part of – seriously, check out the amazing un-retouched cover photo of this month’s issue:
During Full Figured Fashion Week, PMM put on the #CelebrateMySize Expo, with tons of plus vendors like Ashley Stewart, Full Beauty, indie designer ASK Fashion, and the FFFWeek sponsor Fit for Me. I wore one of my personal favorites, Gwynnie Bee, and apparently great minds think alike because PMM editor-in-chief Madeline Jones and blogger babe Kelly Augustine both showed up in Gwynnie Bee scores as well:
My dress is easy palm print perfection from Karen Kane. The silhouette and fabric give a sporty vibe to the tropical pattern, so I paired it with my go-to perforated slides (currently on sale for $22!). This piece is somehow both lined and lightweight, so everything was smooth with no effort. I love this dress, but it is not something I could spend $118 on right now, so being able to get it as one of the many items I get from my monthly GB subscription – for less than it would cost to buy this one piece – is just the best.
