A Tasty Trend to Shop on Sale: The Best Food Prints in Plus Size

As someone who loves a fun print, 2025’s food fashion trend is just my taste (pun absolutely intended). It is cheeky, unexpected, and a nice change from simple floral or abstract prints that usually dominate warmer weather. This in’t the first time fruit prints have had a moment, but I still think will have some staying power, as we’ve already seen it popping up beyond summer, including banana motifs on the Jacquemus Fall/Winter 2025 runway, and I anticipate it still being in the trend cycle next year.
Not all food prints are created equal though, so I’ve rounded up all the best wearable fruit and veggie motifs (and beyond!) available in plus sizes now, with options from budget to designer. And even better, because the fashion calendar has already moved on to fall fashion, the vast majority of these styles are on sale now!
As always, if you end up shopping from this post, it is SO appreciated if you could use my link and/or discount code when checking out! It costs you nothing, and supports the work I do here, allowing me to dedicate the time needed to research and create resources for you here (including in depth shopping guides and sale roundups like this one), and on social media (like my #inthefittingroom try on content!)

Some seasonal notes to consider:
Citrus prints tend to skew more summery or resort, so these are great pieces to buy on sale now and wear for the rest of summer, pulling them back out for vacations or next spring. Quirkier foods and veggies are somehow more seasonless (see Rachel Antonoff’s plentiful prints and Samantha Pleet’s Forager Print), so if you are looking for something to transition into fall, I recommend those motifs, or something with a darker colored background. If you are looking for just a hint of juicy fruit prints, I recommend size inclusive lingerie label Uye Surana – I have their Fruit Punch mesh cami and it makes for some really cool layering! And if you are looking for a whimsical food print in a fancier silhouette, I can’t recommend Selkie enough – I wore their strawberry print last NYFW and have never felt prettier! (P.S. You can use my reader code CURVILY for an extra discount on their site!)
