My love for a statement suit is nothing new – I’ve been fully aboard this train since early 2017. What is new is the myriad of fantastic statement suit options available in plus. Back when I was styling options for this photo shoot, it was damn near impossible to find anything comparable to what I was seeing in straight sizes.  Thankfully, the suiting trend hasn’t gone anywhere, and retailers are seeing the demand for interesting suit options in plus.  I’ve scoured the internet and tried on a ton of options to round up all the sharpest suits to shop now.

My number one go-to for interesting suits is Eloquii.  Theirs was the floral number that saved the day back in 2017, and their selection has just gotten better and better.  Most of my favorite suits are from them including this striped balloon sleeve number that is such a showstopper:

My bright yellow suit is another guaranteed compliment-magnet: I got stopped all day long when I wore this for a busy day of events.  The buckle detail on the pants is especially great, and this suit comes in a pale salmon pink too.  I tried on another pink suit option with a chic pajama dressing vibe in my latest Eloquii #inthefittingroom at their Soho pop up (you can watch it as a Story highlight on my IG Profile page).

Lane Bryant has significantly upped their suit game lately, and this white leopard print number is one of my favorites looks of 2018.

Mango’s plus size line Violeta has a few great options in bold colors, including this very cool orange.

If you are looking for a luxury brand in plus, Marina Rinaldi is the true power player.  This statement suit in a rich, on-trend green with orange stripe accents is so good.

I haven’t tried Pretty Little Thing’s plus size line yet, but my blogger friend Essie Golden rocks it on the regular, so I will plan on ordering soon!  This longline satin blazer and wide leg pants suit is definitely tempting me.

New plus contemporary brand Maree Pour Toi just released their first statement suit as part of their Holiday Collection, and it is a loungesuit-esque velvet number that would be perfect for a sexy date night with a lacy bodysuit.
