Yesterday I kicked off Pride weekend with one of the most fun dresses I’ve worn in a while.  This ombre rainbow maxi from Rafaella is pure joy in a dress!  I love how lightweight and flowing it is, and it was perfectly comfortable for a long day of events and shoots, starting with the FFFWeek Lane Bryant Blogger Brunch.

This Rafaella dress is actually a straight size Medium (really!), but it is so roomy and has more than enough space for me, a size 16/18.  I was so skeptical about a Medium fitting when Rafaella reached out, but it is actually perfect.  This style is available in sizes S-XL, so there is something that will work for many larger sizes in plus too.

When I stopped by my favorite dog cafe (!!!) Boris & Horton, they had an ombre drink that was a perfect match for my new favorite maxi dress.  The Pegasus is a delicious Pea Flower Lavender Lemonade, and in honor of Pride, Boris & Horton is donating a portion of the proceeds of this drink to the True Colors Fund, an organization dedicated to ending homelessness among LGBT youth.  It is yummy and refreshing too, so a true win-win.
