Can you believe Coachella starts this weekend?  It seems like the unofficial start of festival season snuck up on us, but that just means it is time to start thinking about sun and sand (whether it is spring break on a beach or dancing in the desert).

I was just in the Coachella valley last weekend for a wedding, and the hot sun there means it is definitely swim season.  For practicality’s sake, a bikini is the way to go if you are wearing a swimsuit to a festival (makes navigating bathroom breaks in small spaces a lot easier than disrobing entirely!)

I wore a bikini from JCPenney’s new Boutique Plus swimwear collab with Jessica Milagros.  The comfortable high waist bottom with ruching is super easy to wear, and the bright color trim on the asymmetrical top is perfect for neon accents (glowstick bunny ears, anyone?)
