Dressing for an occasion can be tricky – you have to navigate a balance between personal style, situational appropriateness, and comfort.  Sometimes an LBD is the answer, but sometimes classic simply won’t cut it.  If you have a fall function to attend where you can go bold, this layered floral number by Melissa McCarthy is the way to go.  It is a true statement, and a gorgeous one.  I actually wore it for a more relaxed event at People Stylewatch, and the number of compliments I received from fellow fashionistas and editors was insane.  It is also comfortable and warm enough for cooler temps, and the palette works for fall without being cliche.  This is definitely *the* dress for someone who isn’t afraid of the spotlight.
