The menswear inspired look is another aesthetic that I always loved, but admired from afar because I was convinced it wouldn’t “work” on my curvy body.  Now that I am really understanding that those types of fashion “rules” are arbitrary crap, I am consistently pushing myself and finding ways to adapt any trend I like to fit my personal style.  For loose fitting “boyfriend” styles (as per the name of every piece I’m wearing), the key for me was a blazer with a bit of a nipped in waist.  This gave the outfit enough structure to look pulled together, not sloppy.  Grey and white statement earrings added some femininity while keeping the look modern.
