When I was a kid, I’d pick up some of the 70’s inspired styles that had come back in fashion, and my mom would scoff “I can’t believe that is back in style!”  I never understood her good-natured exasperation then – I mean, even as a kid, I knew that all fashion is cyclical – but I think I do now.  The first time I saw straight 90’s daisy print in stores, I found myself shaking my head and thinking “THIS is back?”  And then I immediately had to laugh at myself.  Apparently its just a result of living through a few decades – and I’m only 29!

After seeing some other women rocking daisy print, however, I warmed up to it.  When I found this skirt, it was just right.  The oversized, monochrome print is a nod to the 90’s trend without being too literal for me.  Paired with a soft jersey twist top from Three Dots (their knitwear is ridiculously comfortable), I had an easy outfit for a packed day.  I added a pop of color with my coral statement necklace, but unfortunately half of it was hidden in the pictures.  C’est la vie!
