I loved this monochrome pin-up-esque dress from Cherry Velvet; I’ve liked everything I’ve tried from them (see this happifying dress).  But for a night out of drinks with friends, I didn’t want to go with the full-on pin-up aesthetic.  To punk it up a bit (and make it more winter-friendly), I paired it with my trusty moto boots and super opaque leggings combo, and added matte orange lipstick.

[Disclaimer: This pic doesn’t do this dress full justice – that fold below the belly wasn’t there once I noticed it and gave it a quick tug, but I didn’t have time to take more pictures.  I still loved this look though, so I wanted to share.]
