As someone who has watched this industry constantly appropriate language and concepts meant to help people escape its clutches, it honestly hurts to see how many people they are able to fool into thinking that using their products is the only way to happiness. Hot day fit check, featuring a question I go back and forth on a LOT. In general, I always try to prioritize brands that offer true plus sizes (especially extended plus sizes, which are so underserved), but there are still sizeable gaps in the plus market, and I personally find it helpful/interesting when my fellow plus creator babes share select straight size pieces that work for them (for example, @itsmekellieb just styled a Free People dress as a shirt and I love the look). This dress is a size 16 from @rosettagetty for @renttherunway, and the fit is perfect on me (even though I’m decidedly not a 16). I’d love it in #plussizeplease so more babes could wear it, but if you are looking for a versatile strapless red dress, this might be the one for you ❤️

Is this type of info something you’d like to see *occasionally* (plus and inclusive brands will always be my main focus here!)? I feel like this topic is a pretty nuanced one, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on it in the comments!
