Spring’s Key Item: The Blazer

Statement suits were one of my favorite fall trends, so I am happy to see a component of the style making waves for Spring 2018.  Blazers, from statement prints to sharp tailored pieces, are the go-to layering piece this year, and can be worn for everything from a power meeting at the office to a fun night out.

 

I paired my oversized striped blazer with a patent leather mini and a luxe Adam Lippes tee shirt for a downtown look with a bit of ‘Clueless’ thrown in for good measure.

 

My over the knee boots are perfect for transitioning into bare-leg weather without freezing my stems off.    The block heel keeps them walkable, even on uneven Soho streets.
