This season’s polka dot trend is still going strong, so I decided to take a more-is-more approach to layering it on.  For a day of fashion events and meetings that started at 8:30 am and went well past 8:30 pm, I needed a mix of comfort and style.  This thematic look was just the thing.

At the fourth event of the day 8+ hours later and still feeling great!

My beloved polka dot culotte jumpsuit is something that’s been in my wardrobe for over a year now (I originally got it from my Gwynnie Bee membership), and has become a go-to piece.  It’s an item that is surprisingly versatile, so it was fun to amp up the print with more dots in different shades.

I got this mesh duster on sale in store at Rainbow, and haven’t been able to find a duplicate online, but I’ve included some fun layering options below.  Whether you are pairing a sharp pair of trousers with a dotted blouse, tying a button down at the waist over a mini dress, or adding long layers over a spotted jumpsuit, upping the polka dot ante is a fun way to add some fashion edge to a trend that is becoming more ubiquitous.
