Structured Ruffles
Ruffles were one of the biggest trends for Pre Fall 2016, as I wrote about in my trend report in Plus Model Magazine. I loved this shirt I featured so much that I had to get it, and it is even better in person. It is a true statement piece, and I am a big fan of the contrast between the structure of a crisp poloin button down and the flounce of a bold ruffle. It is also surprising versatile. I styled this piece two different ways in my PMM feature, and found a third way here. With a high waisted pencil skirt and double strap wedges, it was fashion editor realness.
It is also just a lot of fun to wear. I got so many compliments on this shirt, and felt great in it. The sleeve ruffle can also be worn down, so I will be layering this as it gets colder too.
