For a gorgeous spring day that I knew would turn into a night out, I wanted to wear something that would transition well from day to night, and be comfortable for all the walking I wanted to do.  Something about warm, sunny, sunny weather makes me want to wear bright colors, so belting my new cobalt draped trench vest with a hot pink belt just seemed right.  I paired it with my favorite new pants and bright ankle wrap flats.  

Bonus: I ran into my blogger friend Monica of Let it Be Worn and her friend Michaela Verrelien, another style blogger.  For a city of 7.8 million, NYC can be small sometimes, and I love that.
