Last weekend, after a wonderfully warm December, NYC was hit with the first big snowstorm of the year, and it seemed like nature was making up for lost time. Winter Storm Jonas dropped over a two feet of snow. We braved the still falling snow on Saturday to try to sled, but to no avail. On Sunday, with clear blue skies and the sun glistening off of the fresh white blanket covering the city, we met our friend in the park to make a snowman (and have an unannounced snowball fight, of course).
I was completely bundled up and ready to go. My thick wool coat from X-Two (a Gwynnie Bee exclusive) is incredibly warm, and my faux fur trim boots kept my feet toasty and dry, even when the sunk below the snow line. This scarf and hat set (on sale now) finished off my snow day outfit.
How do you bundle up for a blizzard?
