OOTD: Casual Coffee Date
For a laid back coffee date with my husband last week, I wore my #ImNoAngel tee from the awesome LB campaign, and marble print jeans from new label Baccini. They recently launched their site, and have clothes in both straight and plus sizes (6-24W). Right now, they are focusing on jeans, jackets, and pants. Their prices are surprisingly affordable too – not too much more than Torrid, but with a much higher quality feel. [Bonus: Get 30% off your order now with code LAUNCH30]
As soon as I saw these marble print jeans, I knew they had to be mine. Its no secret that this is one of my favorite prints, and I am already dreaming up tons of outfits for these. But for a warm spring day and an evening coffee date, I decided to style them simply. They are a statement on their own, even with a black tee (though this one is making a literal statement too). I love the fit – they are true to size, and are actually jeans, not glorified mostly spandex “jeggings.” Don’t get me wrong, sometimes more stretch is a good thing, but these hit the sweet spot with their little bit of stretch, feeling substantial while still lightweight enough for the summer.
I kept up the [almost] monochrome palette with a Loeffler Randall bag, part of my Rent the Runway Unlimited subscription. My comfy Matt Bernson flats were perfect for strolling around and enjoying the weather after iced lattes at O Cafe thanks to Cups App, the best thing to happen to NYC coffee in ages. It lets you get coffee and other drinks (including chai) from independent coffee shops around the city for a serious discount.
