High end designer collaborations with mass market retailers have long been catnip for fashionistas on a budget, but for all too long, the plus size customer has been left out.  That is starting to change with more calls for extended sizing and #plussizeplease: Chastity Garner’s boycott of Target for excluding plus in their last collaboration with Altuzarra led to the announcement that their next collab (with Lilly Pulitzer) will have sizes up to 3X.  Target is late to the game, though – Lane Bryant has been seriously upping their fashion game by doing collaborations with top designers for over a year.  Their first partnership was with FLOTUS favorite Isabel Toledo.  Wonderfully, it didn’t end with one collection, and the latest Spring line from Toledo is so good.
