OOTD: Midi Bodycon Dress, Work to Weekend Style
Living in NYC, I am all about the quick changes to take an outfit from the office to drinks – the less subway rides, the better. One of the easiest I’ve found is adding a peplum top to a bodycon dress: The flare keeps the whole look from being too clingy for work, and all I have to do is take it off at the end of the day to get a bit more va va voom for a night out. This works with a peplum blazer too, but sometimes a structured top is enough. This ponte peplum from Mynt 1792 is just right for layering. The high neckline gives the illusion of a pencil skirt and top combo, and the weight is substantial without being heavy. It has definitely become one of my go-to pieces.
