Despite edging towards being overdone, I am still really enjoying the leather accent trend.  It is just the thing to bring a bit of edge to a work-appropriate black sheath.  With a burgundy blazer and pumps, I was meeting ready, and I could still go out for drinks in the E.V. afterwards without feeling too stuffy (an office-wear hazard).
