Though not the best quality (by far), Forever 21 is steadily making progress with its fast-fashion plus size offerings.  The low prices make the fact that the garment will fall apart at some point a bit more palatable.

Better yet, though, is when the prices are even lower.  But their frequent online sales often only have a few plus size options.  Todays sale is much better – there are four pages of plus sale items, with an additional 30% off the sale price (use code EXTRA30).  Avoid the off-trend and appropriative “Aztec” print items, and there are some cute steals to be had.  I just snagged this surprisingly great romper for $15 (I loved it when I tried it on above, but couldn’t justify it for $30); a fun leopard skater dress for $11; and a studded pair of shorts for $8.

A word of caution though: I’ve heard of people having problems returning items ordered with a sale code, so keep that in mind if you are unsure of the fit.
