NYFW is supposed to be all about the fashion, but sometimes the elements feel the need to weigh in. With heavy downpours in the forecast, my suede boots look was out of the question.  This look was comfortable and perfect for running from show to show, even when I got caught in the rain.  

I love this stretch crepe jumpsuit from Fashion to Figure.  The deep-v surplice neckline was too risque for me – aka my bra was showing – so I paired it with my favorite new bralette from Society+ (formerly known as Cool Gal Blue).  Tip: Size up on this top if you are busty.

My geometric heart embellished flats are from zulily, a deep discount flash sale site.  I got these for $10, so I wasn’t too worried about wearing them in the rain.  The faux leather stood up to the rain though, and I got compliments all day, and no one could believe the price.  If you haven’t tried zulily yet, check them out here.
