OOTD: Bright Colors and Sunlight

For a gorgeous spring day that I knew would turn into a night out, I wanted to wear something that would transition well from day to night, and be comfortable for all the walking I wanted to do.  Something about warm, sunny, sunny weather makes me want to wear bright colors, so belting my new cobalt draped trench vest with a hot pink belt just seemed right.  I paired it with my favorite new pants and bright ankle wrap flats.

OOTD: St. Patrick’s Day

This year's St. Patrick's Day was nothing like my raucous celebrations of yore - it was a Thursday, and I spent my day at the office, with nary a green beer to be seen.  I still wanted to show a bit of holiday spirit, so I wore this Alice & You high neck sheath from Gwynnie Bee.  Even as the adventurous shopper I've grown into over time, I probably would not have bought this dress if I just saw it online - the silhouette and ribbed fabric seemed like it might be overly clingy.  I did love the dark cyan color, though, so it was worth a shot to try risk free as part of my Gwynnie Bee subscription.  I'm glad I did, because I loved it as soon as I put it on.
