Since I’ve become more adventurous with color sartorially, my default summer inclination is to get something bright or bold in every outfit.  One day last week, however, I woke up to grey skies and high temperatures, and I decided to just go with it.

This houndstooth romper has a slight punk edge to it, and was perfect for drinks on the Lower East Side.  The iridescent purple and grey finish on my Miista clutch was reminiscent of dramatic stormy skies, and the whole look felt just right for the day.
